Haha, so I'm sick in bed and hence had some time to browse xanga. I found the entry where I announced Julianna's engagement...... and decided I needed to do yet another engagement announcement! Even though it's about 2 1/2 months late.
Yes, James and I are getting married. Remember this pic? This was our first formal date as a new dating couple.
And now... our first formal date as an engaged couple!!
Yes, it pretty much was taken at the Empire State Building. With the proposal on the ice at the Rockefeller Center, we pretty much had to end the night some other romantic place! :)

I never thought someone would love me enough to buy me a really nice ring.... like I really didn't think it would ever happen, so I didn't think about it much. Apparently, I was wrong!
I think the the most exciting prospect of the wedding day is having allllll the people I love best around me all at once! Like, that will be such a treat. And the most exciting prospect of a wedding life is.... well duh- getting to spend it all with JIMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

This week = momentous occasions. First of all, on Thursday I became a Registered Nurse. Like, I have a license number to practice nursing in the state of North Carolina. Yes, you may whoop and scream and laugh as I did after I pressed the button, shaking all over, to view the results of the last crazy-hard exam, the NCLEX. It’s over though now Praise the Lord and I’m officially bound to Johns Hopkins Hospital to take care of my little kids as an ER nurse.
On Monday my boyfriend came home. So I got to talk to him after 18 days of absolutely no contact. I practically cried to hear his voice again, if you must know. It was uber-extremely hard, but we survived, and he called me from the top of his submarine for my birthday. J Which brings me to my third crazy happening of the week: on Monday I turned 21. The big TWO ONE!!! I feel… old. There’s something to be said though for being able to pretty much do whatever you want and do it legally. There’s another thing to be said when you don’t do those things anyway. So, if you wanna come to my mocktail party, let me know. J

Today is undoubtedly one of the MAJOR DAYS OF MY LIFE!!! It will go down down down down in HISTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because…..
I am officially retiring my CCHS uniform!!!
It’s not a big deal cuz I’m retiring it, it’s a big deal because it means today, ladies and gentlemen, I officially finished my last day of clinical for nursing school. Now it is definitely a big plus that I can forever put away the very ugly baggy white scrub top with the teal school logo that does away with any hope of disguising yourself as anything other than an ignorant nothing-but-a-student…..
Ya’ll, graduation is 21 days away. Praise God. Be there. That’s all I have to say.
